About Little Seed Farm
After one too many years of city living, we came to realize that our true dreams lie in our roots. In early 2012 we moved from life in NYC to our farm in rural Tennessee. Our mission is to provide humanely and sustainably produced soap and skincare to our community, and to encourage other small businesses to embrace land stewardship and sustainable production. Wow! Even works during menopause!!
I’ve been afraid to write a review because I don’t want to jinx it!! But WOW! I am starting menopause and suddenly all deodorants were failing me!! I had been using Lume for the last couple of years, and it got so bad I was going to throw away my shirts because the odor clung to them even after washing. I went back to using Degree, which I didn’t want to do because it is not as “natural”, but I was desperate. Even that wasn’t working. I decided to try this Little Seed Farm charcoal, and I’m sooooo glad I did! IT WORKS!! I got the wooden applicator because I don’t love applying it with my finger. It’s amazing. Easy to put on, lasts a while, and I don’t smell!! EVEN WITH HOT FLASHES!! The only negative I can think of is it does leave the white residue on clothes if you’re not careful, but so do a lot of them so I don’t care and just rub it off with a baby wipe.I also got their sample pack so I could smell the different scents. Some are nice, some I don’t like, but each sample packet lasts for 4-5 uses. I’m glad I tried it, but I think I’m going to stick to the charcoal or the unscented.

Best Natural Deodorant
I have tried a dozen or more natural deodorants. Some of them have caused me to get the red irritation under my arms, while others have worked but, after a few weeks it seems that they stopped working. I was reluctant to try this brand because it comes in a jar and I didn’t like the idea of applying it with my fingers. I ordered the charcoal scent with the applicator. At first, the scent was a little unusual, not bad, just different from what I’m used to in traditional deodorants. After a few days I adjusted to the scent and I now find it very pleasing and clean. The applicator was a game changer. It helps you to get just the right amount of product and spread it under your arms. I go the whole day smelling clean and fresh. This is from someone who lives in South Florida and sweats pretty heavily. I have had no irritation, no weird smell, and the applicator makes it very easy to apply. Best natural deodorant I have found.

The unicorn of natural deodorants
It is extremely rare for me to take the time to write a review, but I love this deodorant so much I HAD to! I have tried lume, Dr. Teals, native and many other brands and would still feel smelly and not fresh by the end of the day or after a long workout. I’ve been using this for a month and it is BULLETPROOF! The activated charcoal is my favorite (has a nice minty fragrance), but I also love the blue tansy rose! Thank you for making such an incredible product!

It lasts!
It lasts a full 24 hours for me! Goes on creamy, dries light and no feel. The charcoal scent is sort of citrus-minty, and fades quickly but then I just smell neutral the rest of the time, which is fine by me. Some of the other scents like the blue lotus one don’t fade.

For anyone who reads other reviews of cream deodorants and gets concerned about transitioning to “getting a bit personal” with your underarms when applying it, or has trouble finding a way to effectively apply it, buy the Little Seed Farm Deodorant Cream Applicators and both problems should be solved. I’m certainly glad that I made the choice to buy the applicators at the same time that I purchased Little Seed Farm’s deodorant, as they are the PERFECT size and shape to fit in the jar that the deodorant comes in. You just grab some of the cream with the tip of the applicator, then use it to spread the cream on your underarms. It’s pretty easy to grab the cream if you just use the rounded contour of the applicator to pull up a small amount of cream from the jar. You may find it helpful to look in the mirror when applying the cream to your underarm, but I also find it quite easy to apply without a mirror. The size is perfect too! 4″ x 1.8″ makes it easy to handle, unlike the tiny little sticks you get with most natural cream deodorants.

Amazing
I’ve been allergic to most deodorants since I was in my late teens. This is the first time in years I’ve been about to wear deodorant with zero issues. The fragrance is t super strong but it’s a nice subtle scent.
