Lodge Pans worke very well on induction stovetop.
Lodge Pans are factory seasoned and work well from day one. They are especially good for induction stoves. They are incredibly durable too.

Pre-Seasoned, Perfect Small Size!
I pre-seasoned it anyway, although it was already done … it just turned a little blacker. It’s good quality and just perfect for my use because I only need to make small round loaves of bread, cornbread or biscuits. The inside bottom is NOT perfectly smooth like some people like for cooking eggs, etc. but it would eventually get smooth – with more use.I just clean it with water if absolutely necessary and put a little oil on it for the next time. Great quality! Great price!

so good, I bought other skillets at Bed
so far, so good, I bought other skillets at Bed, Bath and B., and food I cooked in it tasted like metal, so I returned them all. I thought bc they were made by Calphalon, they would be good, but that was only a name, back years ago…………..I cooked some mushrooms in butter for the first time after unpacing, put a tiny bit of org olive oil in the pan, llike the directions said, and after cooking, they tastd like food, not a chemical taste! It says to not wash the skillet with soap so I will just wipe it out……so far, I LOVE it!

Very nice pan.
The pan isn’t non-stick like a teflon pan, but it’s pretty close. I’ve used cast iron pans in the past, and none was non-stick, so I wasn’t expecting it to perfectly non-stick. I use it mainly for eggs, and I think cast iron is the best type of surface healthwise. I make sure to coat the cooking surface with oil after cleaning, and I simply rinse it with hot water.

This pan has a black paint like coating flaking off on the bottom!I have observed good maintenance and have washed onlywith water and a soft plastic brush. The top is fine.I thought that I would be cooking on cast iron, but it looks like some sort of coating has been applied?Liked it very much until this happened.****************************************************EDIT-Apparently the flaking coating is the “polymerized oil” which is the seasoning? So now, since the pan is relatively new, my assumption is that the coatingmight not have been properly applied.I’m going to raise the rating to 4 stars as a result.Guess I’ll have to learn more about this seasoning.

Lodge è una garanzia. Solida, indistruttibile, utilizzabile su tutto. Dal forno all’ induzione o direttamente su carbone… Bisogna imparare a utilizzare la ghosat, se si è abituati all’ antiaderente. Ma con la dovuta cura non attacca nulla.
