Dishonest – non organic polyester.
Dishonest description. I have searched the entire internet far and wide to find a 100% Organic (cotton or wool) crib mattress cover that would provide natural breathable protection with organic materials, that was fitted like a sheet (not with elastic straps) This descriptions Says 100% cotton. What they fail to mention is the completely NON organic polyester plastic backer!!!! This is what they use to back footwear materials with. Disappointing … still searching .

Poor stitch quality
Bought this after countless hours of researching the safest infant bed. I read that the naturepedic bed created more heat than some, therefore this mattress cover was recommended to increase air flow/redistribute the heat. I was happy at first, seemed good quality and no chemical smells. However, after a few months of light use and only 2 washings (on gentle cycle) the stitching has come loose! Pretty disappointing.
