2025 UPDATE: Still using this as a favorite pre-soak, as well as a great cleaner for all the door jambs! *Original review: This polymer-based cleaning solution is the heavily muscled big brother to Optimum No Rinse. It can be used at various dilution rates to make a clay lube, rinseless wash, even a waterless wash. I like to use mixed 3:1 as a pre-soak for my ONR washing regimen when the car is dirtier than normal. There are many detailed videos available on how to use it, as well as when to use it. What I like the most is that it’s natural, not chemical based. The smell is nowhere near as appealing as the blueberry scent of ONR, but it certainly makes up for the lack of fragrance with its powerful cleaning action. Check out some tutorials on Opti-Clean and ONR, then you can see the efficiency and Optimum synergy for yourself!

Best Waterless Car Wash IMO
I’ve tried other waterless car wash but this is the best, even if in quality only.The best part is how slick and shiny the product leaves the clear coat afterwards, it even helps hide minor scratches.The downsides would be price and quantity.This product isn’t as concentrated despite coming in a big container. The bottle says to dilute water/ product 3:1 and the price isn’t exactly comparable to other waterless washes to begin with.Nonetheless I will continue to purchase this product solely for the exceptional quality – so long as the price stays the same.

It really works
I had never heard of waterless car wash but decided to give this a try. The results are surprisingly good. Spray a little onto the car, let it sit a minute, then smoothly wipe off with a microfiber towel. I work on one panel at a time. Turns a dustly/mildly dirty car into a clean one. If your car is filthy, caked with mud, etc., then you’ll need a traditional wash but this does a great job with routine cleanings.

Keeps car clean between washes
Good product to keep car clean between washes. Although we have been getting some rain lately, California is still suffering from a prolonged drought. I have been using the two bucket system to wash my car with Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine. But in between washes, I use Optimum Opti-Clean to clean up the car. Opti-Clean is easy to use. I simply spray a bit onto a small area, wipe with a clean micro-fleece towel, and I am done. Cleaning my entire car barely took 20 minutes and that is probably due to me being overly careful. After using it, the car looks clean and shiny. I should note that my car is fairly clean between washes. Thus I have not used it on really dirty areas. But on a relatively clean car, this product works great.

Still need more time. I tried on a panel on my Jeep Wrangler. Currently a coat of Beadmaker on for production. Light dust and pollen. Sprayed on using a Solo pump sprayer and wiped with 400 gsm Edgeless towels. In comparison to Wolfgang uber diluted WW strength. It went on more watery. Also Uber seems to leave a slicker surface.I really liked opti clean on the glass and around my plastic grill area on my Audi. Cleaned up some bug guts and left a clean/slight sheen on the plastic. Also worked excellent on door jams.Update: I’ve had a chance to try some other things since. I know use OC as my primary WW/QD. I was using the 500 gsm Eagles throughout but Light linting would cause the towels to feel more grabby on the paint. i still use the Eagles but for only the initial wipe. I follow with my favorite Rag company towel the 16×24 Pluffle. The Pluffle’s dont lint as much and also dont get that soiled using them final buff. For s&g’s i tried the Adams WW waffle weave towels in place of the Eagles and was surprised how great/smooth they glided across the paint. I may start using these and continue to finish with the Pluffle. I will keep the 4 stars because its not as easy as other WW’s to remove and can be a little streaky.
