Great buy
We really like this set. My son just turned six months so we started introducing solids. We wanted stainless steel and something that wouldn’t slide around and this has given us both. The suction cups work great, sometime too great lolThe spoons have been awesome as well. We haven’t used the spoon side too much because my son is still so small but the other side has been a winner!!

Strong, safe, and just right for self-feeding toddlers
This product has reduced stress during meal times to such an extent in our household that it has become a staple in every parent’s life.Another thing that impressed me with this product is that it is free of BPA and can be used safely without worrying about harmful effects on us and our environment that plastics can cause due to their breakdown and accumulation in soil and water.It is the best thing for fussy eaters, too. It is what keeps the different foods in the sectors, and it does indeed help me to serve a wholesome meal to my kid, who apparently loves it. It’s absolute magic! The suction base is fantastic! It adheres to the tray of the high chair, and it has saved me from untold spills and disasters. Even my toddler is able to move the dish around, yet it does not topple or slide like our other plates.The size of the spoons is also just right for small hands. The rounded edges would not cause any harm, and the handle is easy to grip – making this set excellent for assisting my child in eating on his own. There is also no hassle in cleaning up, given that everything is dishwasher safe and that the suction cup is removable if you want to clean it by hand.In sum, this is an excellent quality product that is very functional and makes consuming food enjoyable for the parent and child alike. In my opinion, this is the best product to purchase if you have a child at this age.

Be sure to lift “lip” of silicone over metal plate
I find that the metal plate fits loosely in the silicone bottom.I wish the lip of the silicone bottom was stronger, bigger, or just a tighter seal.(more like more effort when lifting a plastic lid out of a formed bottom tray, I thought this fit just too loosely for an inquisitive child)We have a “wild one”. (just turning 2) Very inquisitive. turns everything upside down, inside out, and just very observing of their environment, and quickly can figure out how to remove the metal tray from the silicone bottom.the spoons are not the type I prefer.I like the long handled, narrow scoop spoons.WHY I purchased these: as they don’t break.I have basic porcelain breakable dishes in the house and had to buy “realistic” plates for little ones.I do like a set of plastic plates I purchased out of “wheat”. they are light weight. but do lack the ability to stick to the tray.we are starting self-feeding “people foods” for baby # 2 cut into small pieces. and when I put the foods just on the high chair tray the child just uses her hands to swat the food around. the smaller plate with a raised lip will aid baby in hand grabbing the food.the suction cup to the tray on the high chair should help to contain the food.I think a set of 2 is just perfect quantity needed.that and a few plastic plates and bowls.for the 2 year old, I have a small end table that is the perfect height that I leave healthy snacks out all day for grazing. better to fill up when you feel hungry on healthy foods.this suction bottom fits perfect on that fake laminate top to keep foods on the plate.happy overall. Just think overtime the silicone might loosen from washing it.overall happy as the plate is not breakable.many uses down the road for the plate: crafts, paints, etc.functions as needed.

Upgrade from all-silicone!
I was so happy to see this brand come up with stainless steel plates. I really like the Panda Ear silicone plates except the they start to smell like dish soap and then so does the food – a huge bummer when trying to get your kid to like new foods!!These stainless steel plates are exactly like the old silicone ones (including photos) – the right dimensions and colors.On these new plates the silicone outside is a nice thick quality so my son doesn’t start banging them around. And the stainless is great because it’s not going to pick up that soap smell anymore. It will also be easier to cut food directly on his plate, for my son to practice his fork skills (the silicone ones sag when he pushes, making it a little bit harder than it needs to be for him), and these will carry some weight without worrying about it flopping over.The plates themselves are nice and light. The spoons are a pleasant bonus.I’m so pleased with these and look forward to throwing the all-silicone ones out.

Great for all ages
Was looking for a stainless steel set for my toddler after getting rid of all the silicone. This set cleans so easy where the silicone would absorb oils and required a good soak/scrub. It’s the perfect size for toddler sized portions and with the three dividers I can serve up protein, carbs and fat. I appreciate that the suction portion can be taken off when it is no longer needed age wise. It serves its purpose quite well and even comes with two utensils
