easy to use, no fuss no mess, great results
First time buying this product and I loved it. It was super easy to use on my locs, which are waist length. Not much staining on fingers or sink or shower, the dark splashes washed out easily with soap and water. Smell wasn’t as strong for me, and it washed off pretty easily. I used a regular shampoo and conditioner and my hair feels great. I think my hair is actually stronger, but will wait for a few weeks to be sure. I only needed to do the roots and it was enough for my whole head. Got the dark brown packet but it turned my hair black, which is OK for me. Maybe it will lighten up? I’ve bought two more dark brown packets for next time. If they are still turning my hair black, I may try the light brown. My hair is naturally dark brown.

Good coverage, easy to use, didn’t damage my hair. I made sure to rehydrate with lots of conditioner and some hair oil. The dark brown was darker than I expected, but its a flattering color. I will definitely buy it again.I recommend adding a little water at a time. I covered everything with a muddy consistency so it wouldn’t drip, and then added a little water once it was applied to massage it in over the tub. I wrapped a plastic bag tightly over it and let it set for 45 minutes. I will probably get 2 boxes next time because my hair is long and I felt like it was stretched thin.Since the initial wash, NONE has come out when I wash it, and my towels and clothes remain unstained. I take hot showers which usually makes color fade, but its been 4 days and it hasn’t lost its luster, even washing every day.

PRODUCT IS ACID AND HAZARDOUS!!!
You need to to take this product OFF the shelves immediately!!!I am a natural malanin female and I bought this product because it said plant base. I have used Henna before with absolutely no problem until now…I put this dye in my hair and now I have at least 1st degree burns through out my entire head, face, neck and ears!I didn’t realize what was happening to me the night of using it as my head had swollen up, my head throbbed like someone beat me, I was dizzy and suffered in pain all night. When I woke up, my face, scalp, neck, ears etc were all red and I had soars in my my head.It had to be chemicals in this I thought so I went to the box and the 1st ingredient was ACID???YOU ADVISED this was safe for ALL hair types but you should have included shin types!We are all NOT the same and anyone who can endure putting acid in there hair with NO Neutralizing shampoo, I have to question???The damage and the losses I am still suffering from this product 3 days later…My entire head itches profusely, my face and scalp is swollen and red with bumps around my edges. I’m still weak, can’t work or function and it’s still burning. I need to go to the hospital to get a steroid shot to stop the chemical reaction and so my head can stop throbbing and swelling.Shame on you Amazon as when I reported this you claimed you would have it removed from your market all for me to come and read a review that states this has happened to someone else.I always taught my children that lies kill and destroy. And ain’t nothing plant based about acid and shake on you and your greed to sell such a hazardous product WITH NO WARNING!I AM NOT THRU WITH YOU YET!!!

I had used a henna product when I was much younger , and just a couple of times. I watched several YouTube tutorials because I had forgotten how to do it . I am very glad I did. I am 50 precent grey . Very salt and pepper . I have a couple of medical conditions that , over the past couple of years , have prompted me to get away from boxed hair dyes that contain too many harsh chemicals . I have tried many semi and demi permanent hair dyes in that time, but as I am so grey , they are not semi or demi permanent at all. I’d have to use them almost daily to keep the color in my very stubborn grey hair . So I decided to try Henna . I usually go with a very dark purple. . . my favorite color . I mixed the henna and oh Lord , the smell was far less than desirable . Pee eww! So I mixed an essential oil in it to mask the smell . I am really glad I did. Made a huge difference .The box said to leave the colorent on for 30-40 minutes . But my experience with grey hair told me to leave it on longer ( So did a couple of YouTube videos ) I mixed it till it was a gravy consistency , and I started at the roots in the front of my hair part by part , bit by bit to ensure all those pesky grey hairs were coated . It started to dry and get caky real quick , so I grabbed the spray bottle I have for my plants, and kept my hair moist . Then , when I was very certain that every strained was coated from root to tip , I gave it another spray down , and tied a lovely shopping bag around my head. I went to bed with the crinkly bag on my head , and woke up 7 hours later , got up and rinsed it out . I could tell right away that it worked . My hair looks like I used a boxed hair dye , though the color of purple is not as vibrant as I would really want it to be …. All my grey hair is colored over . That right there is the most important part! There is no brassy color just a nice warm very dark brown with a hint of wine color to my hair . I am very happy with the results , and highly recommend this product . There are a couple of things that I should let other shoppers know …First , on the initial application , there was a slight sting , much like the box dyes , but that faded very quickly . And second … I have very very thick hair , but , it’s very short , styled in a 1920s style bob . I would recommend buying two boxes for shoulder length hair, and three for hair that goes down your back . Even for my shart hair , next time I order this product , which I definitely will be reordering , I plan on getting two boxes .And third thing I need to let other consumers know , my hair felt very dry after the rinse out of the dye . I would suggest a good leave in conditioner or good hair oil to apply after you rinse out the Henna.Love this product . I highly recommend!

Okay results, not the best
The henna did cover my greys, but the color came out a bit uneven and the smell was pretty strong. It works, but the process is messy and the results weren’t as smooth as I hoped. Just an average product for me.

La verdad era la primera vez usando henna pero esta es exelente, tiñe super padre y profundo el cabello. Le dio una tonalidad más caoba super padre y no dañe mi cabello.
