Nice but fragile handle
Happy with size, weight, and appearance of pitcher. Perfect for maintaining a supply of favorite drinks – iced tea and lemonade. Only one concern: glass handle is relatively thin and attached to pitcher at very small points. Do not feel confident that handle won’t break from weight of pitcher so only lift while supporting bottom with other hand. Due to this would not get again.

Arrives on time with an easy to take out of the box, wash and use. It’s just as stated – easy to clean and use glass pitcher. It’s the right size for about a half gallon of liquid. The lid fits tightly but is easy to come off or on to fill. It works easily for pouring and serving. It seals tightly to keep liquid from spilling. Will enjoy using this for many summer nights!

Borosilicate Pitcher with the Best Design and Function!
I have two of these in the 51oz size. They are perfect for making cold tea. I usually use a mixture of teas (green, ginger herb, rooibos, etc). After pouring the boiling water over my tea bag in the pitcher, it seems to cool to room temperature in an hour or so. I always wait till cool before placing it in the refrigerator. Even though this is made of borosilicate, a shock temperature change will crack any glass. This can withstand both very high and very low temperatures — but it cannot go quickly from one to the other as a few reviews have alluded to and experienced cracking (of course). By the way, one of my pitchers was purchased 2 years ago and is still like new!.

My old refrigerator where I keep drinks tends to freeze things. I like that because I like my drinks cold; hence why I keep the old fridge for storing drinks. I had a pitcher of water with lemon and cucumber completely freeze in this pitcher. I let it sit overnight in the sink and the glass remained perfect through all the temperature changes. I love this glass pitcher. Perfect size, not to big not too small, very sturdy and classic looking. Love it!
