I am thoroughly impressed with the Tommee Tippee baby starter set, which includes two silicone coated, 9 oz borosilicate glass bottles. The glass quality is excellent, thick, and smooth. and protected by a silicone coating that not only protects the glass bottle from impact damage but also provides a comfortable grip. The bottles are marked clearly in both ounces and metric units and the wide opening makes them easy to fill.Each bottle comes with a nipple protector that attaches to the nipple holder snugly keeping the nipple clean and hygienic.The included nipples are made of durable silicone, offering flexibility that makes it easier for babies to wrap their tiny mouths around it and more comfortably feed; it can aid in helping the baby’s transition from breastfeeding to bottle feeding. The designed nipple features an anti- colic valve which helps reduces gas and discomfort for the baby. An additional feature to this design is that even when the bottle is turned upside down it does not leak, the baby actually needs to suck on it to release the liquid out of the bottle, I love this feature because it minimizes spill and makes cleanup easier .This set has two slow flow nipples which are perfect for newborns. As the baby grows you can purchase additional nipples with varying flow rates (extra slow flow, medium flow, fast flow, and thick feed) and interchange them, which is great because all babies are different, having different needs and as they grow their needs change.Overall I’m happy with this product. While it may be a bit of an investment, it is well worth it. Love these bottles!
We absolutely love these Tommee Tippee glass bottles that are silicone coated! We have used the plastic version of these bottles before I decided to switch to glass and they were received well by my baby so I knew we wouldn’t have any issues in that area. The quality on these are great! These are very simple to put together(bottle, collar, nipple) and the nipples have an anti-colic valve. Since there are minimal pieces and the bottle is wide, these are very easy to clean. The only part that kind of sucks is that they are 2 for 30 dollars which is a bit steep but you will be able to use them longer than plastic bottles.

Does not resemble breast or pass the triangle test
My baby has a shallow latch. I got these thinking they would be similar to a breast. They don’t even pass the triangle test and he swallowed more air with these than any other bottle. I returned them. Not the best.

Luxurious glass bottles from a trusted brand
We absolutely love Tommee Tippee in this house, and that love continues with these silicone-coated glass bottles. As a first-time mom, we tried a lot of brands early on due to reflux and gas issues, and Tommee Tippee was the one that finally worked for us. Nine months later, we are still using the same bottles, just swapping out the flow inserts as our baby has grown, so I was really excited to try this glass version.These bottles are made from thick, high-quality glass with a soft silicone coating that feels amazing in your hand. They feel very sturdy and luxurious without being slippery. Even though the bottles are slightly larger than the plastic versions, they still hold the same nine ounces. The silicone coating adds grip, helps protect against drops, and keeps the bottle from clanking loudly or sliding on hard surfaces like granite countertops. Everything swaps seamlessly with the parts I already owned, so I was able to use these right away without any issues.Cleaning these is incredibly easy. The bottle breaks down into just three pieces, and being glass, it does not hold onto odors at all. Everything is dishwasher safe and comes out looking brand new. The silicone coating also helps prevent staining and scratches, and after multiple washes, these still look pristine. The design feels very thoughtful and premium, and they would honestly make an amazing gift for a new parent.These do retail for about $30 for a two-pack, so they are definitely on the higher end, but they truly feel worth it. Between the durability, the elegant design, and how well they support babies transitioning between feeding methods, I completely understand why Tommee Tippee is known for this. We went from dealing with reflux and gas to having zero issues once we switched, and these glass bottles feel like an elevated version of something we already trust completely. We have loved Tommee Tippee from the beginning, and these bottles are no exception.

Beautiful Glass Bottles
These are really nice glass bottles that are really well made and have a high quality feel to them (especially the outside, it feels like velvety glass). The glass is frosted, but still translucent enough that you can easily see the milk inside. The larger 9 oz bottles are perfect for toddlers that need a little more than 6 or 8 oz, and the bottles are designed in a way that they won’t easily slip out of tiny hands to adult sized hands. The nipple portion is easy to clean, and is soft (one of the softest one I think out on the market, in terms of how flexible and soft they are). However, once the nipple portion is on the outer plastic ring, you need to twist it very carefully on the glass bottle so that it doesn’t leak. Once you practice twisting the cap portion on a few times, it’s second nature and a really nice bottle overall. I’ll be using these as an alternate to the Avent bottles I’ve used in the past.
