Perfect Flavor
This is the best protein powder! It is super light and easy to drink. I absolutely love that it is not overly sweet like so many health powders out there. Please keep making this exactly as is and don’t give in to all those reviewers that are looking for overly sweet flavor.It’s perfect!

Worst tasting supplement powder!
Was so excited to receive this as I’m a vegan working hard to get as much protein daily as I should. And, passion fruit is typically my favorite flavor! It tastes SO bad. Hard to get down. Nothing like passion fruit (except that it’s yellow?!). I really wish I could return it.

Great idea, tastes terrible
The packaging is beautiful, but when I opened the container, I realized it was only half-full of protein powder. Very misleading — especially at this price point. That said, the powder dissolves easily in water, as promised. It only needed a quick stir. Unfortunately, once dissolved, the passionfruit flavor tastes AWFUL. It’s described as “tangy-sweet,” but it’s really very “tangy-sour.” I added 2x as much water and tried mixing it with juice and sugar/simple syrup, but it’s still unpleasant. I knew it was a risk purchasing a product that only had reviews on its own website. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out.

Good concept
The concept of getting protein content and hydration combined seems like a good idea and value. The powder mixes up pretty well as long as you use enough water. But even with is mixed up nicely, the flavor is off putting to me. Lots of fitness drinks taste weird, so I just try to pound though it and get it down.

Horrible taste
I read the reviews ahead of time saying that this tasted bad, but since I do not like overly sweet things, I thought maybe this would be ok. Nope, this stuff is pretty gross. Definitely can’t use it. Disappointing because the premise is great.

If you hate super sweet things…
Protein supplements are a pretty regular thing in our house. They call it a “HydroProtein Elixir” but the more familiar name to a lot of people is “clear protein.” It’s a protein product that drinks more like a sports drink and less like a thick shake.The problem with a lot of protein shakes and clear protein drinks, especially for those made for the USA, is that if they are flavored, they are way, way too sweet. With almost all of those products, I have to cut the flavored protein with unflavored protein to make it even drinkable.Not with The HydroProtein Elixir by WelleCo! Instead of being sweet, this has a nice, slightly tart flavor to it that I don’t need to mix with another product or make at half strength. At 15g of protein per 18g serving and only 60 calories it’s also pretty refreshing while still packing a pretty good protein punch.If you hare new to clear proteins and hate super sweet products, this is a good one to try. The one thing that I noticed about clear proteins is that. because they drink more like a sports drink and less like a shake, you might not fill as full afterwards. Depending on your goal, this may or may not work for you.
