This water filter is great, similar to another brand that I used to have at my old place. My town doesn’t have the best tasting water, and I’ve struggled with a brita for a while refilling that and buying the little filters that don’t last long enough for how much they cost. I could not be happier with this. Pretty easy to install, and once in it just feels so easy to get clean drinking water. The water that comes out tastes fresh and flows through just like my sink did before the filter. I haven’t had any leaks and the whole thing functions great. You forget how nice it is to just be able to get drinking water from the sink faucet until you can’t get it for a while.

It’s so clean that it’s pumped directly from the ground into my city’s water system without any treatment. Some of you may have tasted it, as it’s bottled and sold worldwide under a well-known brand. However, no city water system is perfect; there are always leaks or breaks, and water quality tends to decline in late autumn during heavy rains or spring when the snow melts. Usually, the city flushes the system by opening fire hydrants, which helps restore water quality. Living in an old apartment building with likely outdated pipes is another reason I considered using a water filter.Installing this under-sink system was straightforward. For simply placing the filter between your main water supply and the tap, all the quality required parts are included. My setup was slightly different because I wanted a bypass for drinking water only. The bypass uses an outlet resembling a gas pump’s handle and needed a Y-fitting and a few other components. We mainly use it to fill water bottles stored in the fridge, for the coffee machine, and while cooking. The regular tap remains unfiltered.This setup allows us to see the filter’s effects, which are quite impressive.
