Living in a condo with a range hood that can’t vent outside used to be a real nightmare – even frying eggs would fumigate the whole apartment! This filter has been an absolute life-saver for us. It dramatically reduces the smell and smoke, preventing it from spreading into our bedrooms, which is a massive improvement for our air quality. What’s also fantastic is how easy it was to cut this filter to the perfect size for our hood. The material feels strong and good quality, and it functions exceptionally well. Less expensive than constantly buying new pre-cut filters, and the convenience of being able to trim it to whatever size you need is a huge plus, especially with older, non-standard hoods. This Filter Really Works!
I recently moved into a rental house that is old and hasn’t been well taken care of. When I turned on the AC, really yucky smells came out of the vents – the original ductwork and vents are still in place. It would be great to clean them, but I don’t see my landlord doing that anytime soon. Basement-y smells, mildewy smells, just awful smells. I looked for filters to put in my vents and air intakes and found this wonderful carbon fabric.What is especially great about it is that it is thin and flexible, more like a fabric. And because every single vent in my house is different – I was able to cut and fit it to each one. With one vent, the screws holding it to the wall were so stripped and painted over that I could not insert it inside, so I neatly taped it on top. It really looks good in each vent.And best of all – it really words. Yucky basement etc smells are almost completely gone. I have a very sensitive nose, which is part of the problem – and this really helped so much. Smoke be gone
We bought this to place in our air vent as the family smokes and it tends to come upstairs through the vents. After placing it in the bedroom the smell of the smoke almost disappeared. It stops heat from leaking through too which is really good as the upstairs gets really hot. The size worked out, we cut out a bit of the size and just folded it in to fit it back in, but nothing too bad. Now we used the leftover and placed it in the living room section upstairs, and the smoke is almost all but gone. Would highly recommend using an exacto or a sharp knife to cut to your desired specs

I couldn’t find filters for my CPAP machine (out of stock). I used this . 10cm X 10cm piece with 2 rubber bands. it worked for me. try under your own risk because it is medical equipment.
