Great Quality and Even Heating
This saucepan feels sturdy, heats evenly, and is perfect for everyday cooking. The lid fits well, the handle stays cool, and it’s easy to clean. It’s a great size for small meals or sauces, and overall an excellent value for the price.

Size weight easy to clean
Love this pan. Weight and size are perfect I cooked rice in it yesterday it turned out perfect.

excellent quality
Love Cuisinart; very good quality. Sturdy, sleek, great ergonomics, cool touch handle, heavy. Perfect size for small needs: my old one quart boils over, 1.5 quart does not.

Good quality but not what is shown in the pictures
I was replacing a broken saucepan that I didn’t know the capacity of so I measured it and bought this pan since it showed the same measurements. Don’t be mislead, this pan is NOT 4.7 inches deep as shown. It’s less than 3.25. the 4.7 is the height of the handle.Although it was not my main criteria, yes it does hold 1.5 quarts……if you fill it right up to the rim.The quality is very good and I’ll keep it but it is not what is shown in the pictures.

My absolute favorite pot ever!
I absolutely LOVE this little saucepan/pot!!! I purchased the 1 1/2 quart one, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. It actually weights more than my Tramontina 3 quart stainless steel pot purchased on HSN (a set I received as a gift). I had done a lot of research, and read tons and tons of reviews before receiving the gift set. I was unsure about the gift set when I received it because I had concluded that I wanted to purchase the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic set. I decided to give the Tramontina a fair chance since I was new to stainless steel cookware, and I even purchased another brand 4 quart pot from True Value in the meantime. I’ve been using the non Cuisinart for about two years now, and purchased this 1 1/2 quart Cuisinart 719-16 about six months ago. All three brands clean up with the same amount of ease, and all seem to distribute heat across the bottom pretty evenly. However, it does seem that the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic isn’t as likely to scorch food as the other two brands. It’s heavier construction appears to make a big difference where that’s concerned, and leads me to believe that it will be around long after I’m gone. Even the handle is one solid piece rather than a hollow handle made of rolled sheet metal like the other brands have, . It is by far my favorite pot, and I plan on purchasing more of them in the future. If you are in doubt about what brand to buy; I strongly recommend giving the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic a try; you won’t regret it. .If you’re new to stainless steel cookware it isn’t too hard to adjust to it. I was nervous about making the switch from teflon pots after reading some reviews about scorching and staining. I am so glad that I made the switch now, and will never go back to teflon pots. It takes a little longer to heat up, and retains the heat longer. It is more likely to scorch than any with teflon if you’re impatient and turn it up too high or don’t stir a little more often. I’ve found clean up to be quite simple. Most everything comes off with rinsing or soaking, but I use a SOS pad if there’s a little discoloration on the inside. I have an electric stove, and have had no issue whatsoever with discoloration or staining on the outside with any of the brands. .

simple and very useful
Good pot. Much better than all the nonstick chemical coated pots I’ve used. It’s simple but effective. I like cooking my rice in this pot. I can easily cook 4 portions of rice in it and could probably fit more. But it also doesn’t feel oversized if you’re cooking less rice in it. The lid naturally falls into place and you can also prop it up a bit to the side so there’s a gap for steam to come out. I recommend this pot.

Highest Quality No-Warp Cookware
I have purchased several cookware sets with various satisfaction, but Cuisinart cookware is the one I come back to for adding pieces. It has beautiful stainless steel that is easy to clean without fuss & it still looks beautiful. MAIN selling point: the heavy thicker stainless steel pan bottoms that do NOT warp & the pan always sits flush on the cooking surface.
