Clean Water…not an option. Have confidence that what you drink is free from harmful chemicals. I love my Berky and my PureWell water purifiers and these filters do the work to keep your water safe and tasty.

Lifefilter Replacement – Looks Like Berkey, Works Okay but Not the Same Quality
The Lifefilter Replacement filters really do look a lot like the genuine Berkey black filters, and installation/priming was straightforward. They work as they should for a typical carbon filter—water flows through, the carbon dust rinses out after priming, and the taste is fine once you run a couple of gallons.That said, the overall quality doesn’t quite match genuine Berkey filters. With these, my tap water tested 145 ppm and the filtered water came out 141 ppm, which is normal since carbon filters don’t remove minerals, but the water didn’t taste as fresh or crisp as it does with the genuine ones.So yes, they function like a standard replacement filter, but if you want the confidence and higher build quality that Berkey is known for, I’d still recommend sticking with the genuine filters.

Excellent quality gravity feed filters.
This functions just as well as the more expensive name brand filters in my gravity feed water filtration system. This set of four filters is and excellent value. These appear as good or better quality that the name brand filters I have used in the past. These are easy to install, and the resulting water quality was excellent.
