【made in Japan】Each piece is made by a craftsman in a factory in Japan.
【reversible】One side is made with a linen blend, so it feels very soft against the skin. Linen fibers are hollow and contain air in the hollows. This air releases excess heat, so it feels cool in the summer, and in the winter, the air inside retains heat, so it feels warm. The other side is made of gauze fabric. It’s soft, breathable and has excellent elasticity, so you can stay comfortable.
【All season】It can be used all year round, by itself when it’s hot, or inside a duvet when it’s cold.
【The filling is 100% wool】Wool is an excellent filling for bedding. It has excellent moisture absorption and release properties, so it absorbs sweat while you sleep and releases moisture to the outside, creating a comfortable sleeping environment.

Really nice wool comforter
This is a really nice wool comforter. It came packaged beautifully. It fits my daughter’s twin bed perfectly. I guess you’re supposed to put a duvet over it, but it’s nice without. We just layer another blanket on top of it. It’s great quality. It’s not too hot and and is super cozy. This is her first wool blanket, and she’s a fan. It’s pretty pricy, but worth it if you want a nice wool comforter. Highly recommend.

Nice but pricey and scratchy
This is a lovely blanket/comforter. From what I understand, this would fit a double size futon in Japan. But it’s not quite as wide as a standard twin size comforter in the US.What’s nice is that it is made of all natural materials. Not too thick, but substantial enough to provide warmth- and still be breathable. I’m currently using it as a supplemental blanket on top is my summertime bedding as it has just started getting chilly.I haven’t washed it yet. That’s going to be interesting since it needs to air dry. For that reason, as well as the fact that the outer fabrics are rough, I would like to have a duvet cover to fit it. Unfortunately, I think I’ll have to either sew one myself or tailor a twin size.Overall, a great option for someone looking for all natural bedding.

Worth it.
It has been an uphill battle to rid our home of plastic (polyester/microfiber/etc) fabrics, but with concerns about microplastics in our bodies and not knowing how those little things we are absorbing into our systems will affect us or those we love in the future, I have been trying my best to go back to Divinely-designed fabrics that are not man made for all our cleaning cloths, clothes, towels, throws, rugs and bedding. Meaning that they need to all be made of cotton, linen, wool, silk, and we do not bring polyesters or microfibers (microplastics) into our home if we can knowingly avoid doing so. We replaced our old mattress pad that is beneath our cotton sheets with a wool mattress pad last year, and it was a surprise how cool that has been to sleep on this past summer, despite also being warm in the winter. So when I saw this twin sized wool/linen/cotton comforter, a fabric combination I have never seen together before, I had to order this. It is beautifully made, lightweight, soft of both sides, not at all scratchy, and it has wool in the middle. But that wool never touches the skin directly. The cotton side is ivory and the linen/cotton blend side is more of a taupe color. For review purposes, photos show it on our queen (60″ wide) bed, lying both horizontally and vertically, but it will unfortunately only fit a twin sized bed comfortwbly. It’s 55″ wide and our queen bed is 60″ wide.It came packaged ready to gift, in a lime green and orange fabric wrap with a bow and an origami. The quality of the entire thing is actually amazing. The instructions say to cover it with a comforter cover or other fabric to keep it clean, but I probably won’t do that as I like how the fabric feels too much to cover it up. And it can be machine washed when needed and air dried. For other comforters, I would not try to air dry them, but this one is quite lightweight, despite being filled with wool. It could also be the perfect bigger throw for naps on the couch, or as shown in pics, be laid across the bottom of a larger bed as an extra layer when needed for one of the two sharing a bed. Only wish is that it came in a queen size rather than just twin, but am hoping that in the future, it will.

Excellent wool comforter
This comforter is really well made and is actually WOOL. It’s great! The comforter is quite soft and puffy, which keeps it warm. It’s slightly warmer than my wool blankets (which are dense and 1/4″ thick) but overall it’s lighter. It also has that great property of wool that keeps you warm, but not stifling hot. This comforter does not come with a cover, and the instructions recommend using one. I just used a sheet under it, and that worked for me, but this does have the loops around the edges to secure it inside a cover. There is both a linen side and a cotton side to this comforter – both are comfortable and not scratchy, although they are not as smooth as a cotton sheet either. With just this and a sheet, I was warm in 50 degree temps easily.I also like that this is made in Japan.I think it’s a very high quality product that feels quite durable, and it’s very soft and warm!

I have very mixed feelings about this…
This blanket is really nice, let’s start with that. The fabric on the side that is supposed to be towards you is super soft, while the top side is also fairly soft, but very slightly abrasive as Linen fabrics often are. The stitching is clean, and the packaging is fantastic.Funny story: when I received the blanket I almost sent it back without even opening it, because it comes wrapped in a pinkish sheet of fabric, and I thought for a minute that the whole blanket would be pink rather than the color depicted. Thankfully, it’s just the wrapping, and the blanket is as shown! That all said, the size is fairly small. It’s roughly twin size, though it is slightly longer and narrower than a standard twin bed comforter. Would be great for a blanket for keeping you warm in your favorite chair or couch! As for the claims that it is breathable enough for warm nights while also being well insulated enough to keep you warm on cold nights, I’d say within the range of reasonable room temperatures that is true enough. But on really warm nights, it will overheat you, and on really cold nights it’s not quite enough to stay warm without putting another blanket over top of it.As for value, that’s subjective and debatable, but I would generally consider this to be horrifyingly overpriced. I would never spend $300 for a blanket, let alone one of this size. But, if you want a blanket with the finest wool filling available, and all natural fabrics of very high quality, this is definitely that, so it may be worth it for some.As always if I encounter any issues or think of anything else to add I’ll update this review!
