    Easy to use and install
Easy to install, came with everything needed to attach to the cold water line. It does not hook up to hot. Which is perfect. I recommend it for fresh drinking water.

I can taste the difference already!
I installed this under the sink filter this weekend. Directions were clear and easy to follow. All the items you need for the typical installation are included. I am not sure what it would do to the overall cost but maybe including an extra screw for mounting the bracket that secures the filter, would be a suggestion. There are 4 mounting holes in the bracket, but only 2 screws are needed, and only 2 are provided. Unfortunately, I managed to strip the Philips head slot on the 1st screw, and I ended up having to use pliers to remove it. But that left me with just one mounting screw. I went to my workbench and found a suitable replacement. But having a spare would be a plus. Part of my issue was trying to work at an angle, and so I stripped the screw. Not the company’s fault, all mine, but for a penny or two, it could relieve some anxiety. I would guess I am not the only person that has had this issue. Once I got the bracket mounted, being sure to place the bracket about 14-15 inches above the bottom of the cabinet, to allow for unscrewing and switching out the filter. The rest of the process went fairly easily. They provide an adapter to reduce from 1/2” to 3/8” to attach both the inlet and outlet hoses to the existing plumbing. A small roll of Teflon tape is provided, more than you will need, but in a nice little roll that can be closed and saved for another project! Once the inlet hose was secured to the 3/8” compression fitting, the other end is a slender silver tubing that gets pressed into the inlet. I tried several times, and it did not seem to want to grab hold. On the 3rd try I pressed more firmly, and it seated into place. The outlet hose also has the tube that presses into the filter housing, and knowing how hard to press, it was seated on the first try. The final connection is the male thread of the outlet hose, to the cold-water inlet of the faucet. A little more Teflon tape and a Crescent wrench and installation was complete. I turned the inlet valve on and checked for leaks, at the 4 connections. Having no leaks I opened the cold water on the faucet and after the sputtering of the trapped air getting pushed out the water was flowing. The company recommends letting it run for 5 minutes to remove any loose residue that is in the filter, usually black dust from the carbon in the filter. After 5 minutes I filled up a cup and drank it down. I could honestly notice a significant difference in the taste of the water. And in a year, it is a simple 1/4 turn of the existing filter and pull down. Then push up and a 1/4 turn on the replacement filter. Be sure to turn off the inlet valve to the cold water, or you will be in for a watery surprise. I wish I would have done this a long time ago! I am quite pleased overall, both in installation and in performance. I definitely would recommend this product.
